I recently burnt myself on our cooker (it hurt). And I think I have found what will soothe and heal it the fastest? I walked into the local chemist the next day and explained what had happened the night before and the chemist simply handed me a tube of 'Acriflex Antiseptic Burns Cream'. To me this is the best cream that deals with what happened to me and small burns. Apparently and according to the chemist, the antibacterial properties in the cream help soothe and relieve skin after a burn or scald and is also used to help heal the infected skin. And I have no hesitation in believing this! And if you are a jet setter then the cream can also be used to treat sunburn. We don’t sell it via this website, but I will be selling First Aid kits very shortly and think this would be ideal as an addition to the First Aid kit.
